Not bad, the 08/09 CBR 1K's had a rebate on them this spring allowing dealers to sell them for 7500-8000K, it is now no longer available. Kawasaki does/ or did have a rebate on the 08/09 ZX-10's for the same price OTD. I can't remember if the rebate was 2000 or 2500 bucks.

It appears to be listed without a reserve. It looks like he has another Repsol bike in the background.
I would definitely plan on a quick road trip to pick the bike up in person before sending money for a deposit. Also would want to verify all the VIN stuff before bidding and then double and triple check documentation once in person.
It might not be a scam but just seems a bit fishy.

You can learn a lot from an ebay rating. I always look at the rating from the SZ members when they have a link to an item....it's usually 100%....good buyers and sellers here.:clapper

I know this guy! He has a few Repsols and NONE of them have been ridden hard, and this one not at all. Also has a few RC51s. I haven't seen the bike since it was in the shop being uncrated. I could get his number for you if you wished.
Edit: Looks like he sold his RC already.

Yes, he never turned a wheel on it. It sat in his living room since the day we took it out of the crate. It's been listed before so he probably wants top dollar for just another Repsol bike.So the bike is legit then? :rockon Thanks for the info.
