Engine wise, its really like a 4 cylinder motorcycle. The shift light comes on at 8.5k and limiter kicks in at just about 10k. The sound is phenominal. I never in a million years would have guesed they could make a Toyota sound like that, it really has to be heard to be beleived. The car has the Stage2 exhaust on it now though.
Driving, well, lets put it this way. I have my favorite roads around here, and I have slowly learned to ride them "swiftly" on the bike. Thats fun. The car is an addrenaline rush. Then again I have never driven THAT fast before. I have always been a good driver, done a couple Porsche track days. This car is a different beast though. You CAN NOT get it to sway, give, lose traction, ect. It is the most planted thing I have ever been in, hands down. The brakes are very linear and the feel is excellent. It stops NOW. The gearbox is notchy, like it should be. Seems to be loosening up though. The steering feels all manual, but very tight. Slow speeds you have to work for it.
It gets more looks than a Ducati, and is an absolute nightmare to get in and out of. No fat chicks here.....hehe.
I can't wait to take it to Thunderhill. Thanks for sharing the excitement, I don't know many "Car" people!
