New to the MC life.

My 1999 supersport has one. I see other sportbikes without one and they look pretty cool. Do I really need to keep mine on?

Re: Huggers (NowiS)

Huggers are nice, because they keep a lot of the road muck and debris off your shock and engine. When I got my first 916 way back when, one of the first things I did was put a carbon hugger on it. Before that, every time I went for a ride, I would come home with crap all over the back of the engine.

I assume you have a Ducati Supersport. If so, unfortunately, nobody seems to be making carbon huggers for that model, but you can always trim yours a little if you don't like the way it looks. There are some posts about this in the Ducati Supersport forum. Do a search...
