where is stunna???
This is the 2nd set of these triples Ive seen up for sale now. Im interested to know if they are SP1 or SP2 though as they had different offsets and part numbers.
I decided against them when I realized that these have significantly larger ID's than the OEM triples and special decreasing spacers would need to be made to use them. Thats just way more work than I am ready to put in at this point.

If I did get them it would be great to have the steering stop limiters and side-mount damper mount as these are both things I am going to need to have in the future.

Dear rc51stunna,

Hi,sorry i don't have a part number as these came from one of the Castrol
Honda superbikes so are likely to be ex factory parts, however i have taken
the measurements you asked for and hopefully these will be of some use to
you:-
Top Clamp I.D = 54mm Bottom Clamp I.D = 56mm
Top Stem diameter =25mm, Bottom = 35mm
and offset is 25mm, regards Paul.

that was cool of him to check those for you. So how far off from the stock triples is that?

Agreed, I asked him if he knew of any factory showa forks that were up for sale that would match these specs.

I believe its 4mm too large on top and bottom, but Im totally unsure about the offset.

PS people have told me that ID decreasing adaptors can be made, does anyone have pictures what this looks like when complete?

Doesn't gilles tooling use adapters like that in their triples clamps?

Looks like it:

That is the only place I have seen them as well, but I just assumed it was an integral part of the gilles design.

Ill check with them to see if they can be used for other applications like this one.

Here is the response from the seller:

Hi Jason, thanks for posting the info. There was a pair of forks for sale
over in your part of the world, the seller advertised them as RC45 ones but
they lacked the QR bottoms making them fit the 45 but the SP's as far as im
aware did'nt use QR bottoms.I did have his email somewhere and if i do find
it i will foward it on but this was some time ago and they may be sold by
now.The Ohlins in my RC45 have similar measurements so maybe a pair of
those could be used(better forks also) cheers Paul.
