Epic fail! U finally get some people into your state and now u give them a reason not to come back. The place is haul from SLC and there's NO chance of there being traffic naturally with the small crowd it draws and then u MAKE traffic? WTF are they thinking!:wacky

The funny thing was there are three ways out but every one took the same route which WAS backed up for 4 mikes no bullshit! Best trailor fights I've ever seen over the dumbest shit. "don, that man looked at my tata's, defend my honor bitch!"

the same thing happened about 13 years ago at a CMRA race at Oak Hill in TX.

The Dallas police (which is nowhere near oak hill) brought out their mobile police station and several officers, who proceeded to ignore every car there while checking the paperwork and inspecting every bike thru the gate, be it a ridden streetbike or a racebike in tow. There wasnt a traffic jam because of the relative small # of spectators, but several TZ250s were confiscated as 'possibly stolen' due only to the fact that they did not have DOT-spec VINs (they were later returned).

I went home that day and wrote the AMA a detailed letter, but never heard back from them about it, and afaik, nothing was ever done about it. Just another reason why I abandoned the AMA years ago.

Policemen are just following orders. The idea most likely came from some goofball drawing a large paycheck sitting in a office and giving high sounding interviews to the sycophantic press. If you are local check local newspapers in the next few months and you will probably see the aforementioned goofball claiming to have achieved "a clampdown on speeders" or something on that line.
I really hope local riders will keep this in mind at the next election.

Same thing happened in 05 at the USGP at Laguna. We went throughthe Fort Ord entrance and waited about two hours while being rousted by the CHP.
