Maybe it would be a good idea to put some threadlocker on the screws.:wtf

I can't find the screws, looks like it's time to tear down and big bore, powdercoat the frame and fit RMZ suspension.

Screws will just compress plastic... it would be better to use a shoulder bolt that
bottoms out against the cases... its possible to use a stick magnet and fish the
bolts out through the oil return slot...

+1 on the magnet idea, auto parts stores sell magnets on the end of flexible wire, those are great for fishing stuff out of cases. What sucks is youre going to have to pull the clutch basket just to put one of them back in. Use the blue loctite once you get everything found/sorted.

Razr: that guy must not know much about loctite...a little heat application and it lets go. In fact, Im pretty sure red loctite tubes say 'to remove, apply heat' :rtfm

I have a magnetic drain plug, and I fished around with a flex head magnet and still can find the screws.

Well I was planning on tearing the bike down and building it back up in to something better with more power and better suspenders.

The bike has 20,000 miles on it now.
