Long story short, due to racing I've neglected my 98 748 for "awhile"... recently I decided to get it back up and running - after I did belts, fluids, etc... and no start - I can hear the pump relay clicking, but no pump noise, so I pulled the pump, and checked it with a 12Vdc directly and it does not come on, so I need a new pump. But for some reason I seam to remember there was a cross over pump that worked that was about 1/2 the cost of the OEM pump and usually locally available. Any one remember what it was?

Found it... Airtex E8229. Just make sure you get the one with the METAL bottom (inlet).
