And did the Stealer give you any trouble.
I bought the bike used, is still under factory warranty until April, 2005. The coupon does not have an expiration date that I remember.
i am wondering how the Ducati can afford to give out free 500 worth of service.
Have any of you guys used the same voucher?

I used one one my first 998 and I bought the bike used.

No problems.

technicaly they were not transferable and most of them did have an experation date. It was a sales promotion for a limited period of time.

Oh... then I won't give the name of the cool dealer I get to work with. I wouldn't want them to get in trouble with Ducati.

The coupon expires when the factory warranty does. The 6k is the only coupon with any real value. Ducati pitched a slider with the 10k coupon, it isn't a 12k so they don't adjust valves or anything of value, it just looked like you were getting something. Everything on the 10k coupon was DIY stuff.

You are right...
The coupon expires with the warranty. Says nothing about being non-transferable.
and yes it really is a very good value..
hopefully my stealer is not going to be a dick about it.
Otherwise i will have to drive to another out of town dealer

yep, used mine. i had purchased my '01 mono 996 in april of '02. got a coupon for the 600, 6k, and 10k. and i only paid $12,900 instead of the list price at that time $17,100. and yes, the bike was new. phil, u are right,,,no real deal on the 10k. kam, hopefully the dealer won't give you any hassels. my stealer didn't, actually i brougth my bike in just shy of the 6k mark the day before my 6k coupon was going to expire. even though the work was actually done a week or so after the coupon expired, he said once it is in the computer it didn't matter. to bad the closest dealer, which i take my bike to get worked on, isn't the man who i bought my duc from.

Agreement on the expiration date - mine required the 6K service be completed one year into the warranty. And no, I didn't take it to my local stealer (wouldn't buy water from him if it was free) - I sent it to Jason at Section8 - it came back a whole new bike!

There were two different programs; one with 2-year expiration and one with 1-year expiration.
