Does anyone kinow if I try to take the tape "gum" off of my recently painted track fairings with Goo Gone, will it remove the paint too?

I use Goo Gone on everything , paint , plastic , clearcoat.
I used it to remove my gas tank sticker , front fender reflectors , swingarm label , and have had no problems.

WD40 works just as well.

The best stuff you can buy is 3M adhesive remover(if you can find it) a good paint store should have it.

I forgot to mention that it is a rattle can paint job without any clear. Still think the paint is safe?

WD-four-oh to the rescue. it won't harm your unprotected paint. it is not, however, chain lube.

Just be careful not to confuse "Goo Gone" with "Goof Off".

Goof off hates plastic.
