I picked up an extra set of headers for a friend who needed them for his track RC bike. He decided he didn't want them since he's going to be deployed over to Irag for the next 6 0r so months. I decided to take them to a guy up the street from my office to have them heat coated. Anyways it's costing $135 and they will be nice and shiny after he coats them. It cost more but I went with silver for the bling factor. If anyone is interested I'm going to take some heat readings of the stock non coated headers after a 30 minute ride and do the same for the treated headers once I get them on. I will be testing the area near the shock. I'll let you guys know the results.
