Its amazing to hear a politician (albeit a foreign one) who's got the courage...no BALLS to state the obvious. German Chancellor Merkel said that their policy towards multi-culturalism has failed...

If only Obama or any other US Politician will pay attention to this and be willing to state such a thing here....imagine if that same type of speech coming from Obama one day??

Uhm, I'm independent and I think there is a good deal more conservative BS over the last, 30-some years, Terry Sciavo being the poster child. When Reagan sold out to evangelicals I renounced my membership in the party. I think it's just a symptom of our human/animal flaws. We're just Sheeple...and the more abundant we become, the larger the population of non-free thinkers gets. The influx appears to make it look like resources are getting scarce, and we begin to look for some "they" to blame. I'm hopefull that in two generations from now, this wave of fear of the "others" will have passed. I speculate that it may take longer if evangelicals take over the constitution...

I"m not so sure that its the resources getting more scarce, I don't think people are arguing over immigrants holding jobs(if that's what you were referring to) but rather that demanding immigrants are wanting to change the places they settle to more resemble where they came from instead of upholding and fostering the new that they have come to...

Learn the language AND culture within 5 years
Be "self sufficient" within 3 years (no welfare for generations.....)

The muslem's (intentional non-caps to indicate disrespect!) have already tried (and failed!) twice to conquer Europe, this is their last and best chance. By simply multipling like rats, refusing to assimilate to the local culture, and instead taking over various neighborhoods, developing them into mini sharia zones, where immams rule, and the "Western" rule of law is ignored. In the UK for example, muslems succesfully sued the Chartered Bank of London for offering "piggy banks" for children opening savings accounts. Based on the fact that pigs are considered personna non gratta by the plaintiffs, they felt it their right to DEMAND the removal of pigs from "their" banks, and they PREVAILED! The backlash is now growing in Western nations, new mosques are being stopped in their tracks, burquas and daggers are being outlawed in public, and people are starting to realize and understand that the latest wave of invaders cannot be allowed to gain a foothold, allowing them to change the culture to one like their "own". How long untill WE see that our own freedoms and misplaced guilt are being manipulated in what ammounts to nothing less than a long term quest for world dommination. Someone in Congress is introducing ANOTHER bill to end that idiotic provision of the Fourteenth. But it has to pass both houses then be ratified by 3/4 of the states. 1. You "conveniently" forgot Turkey which is geographicaly part of Europe (~72M pepole) mostly Muslims during the days of the Muslim Empire - this is once.

2. How do you think Albania became Muslim in the first place? The Ottoman (Turkish) Empire which spanned allmost till Italy including Greece, Albania,
and substantial part of Kosovo, Austria, Bulgaria and so on.
The Ottoman Empire was renowned for their brute behavior, rapping and killings - again this is Islam in its nicesest form.

And it is this empire who brought Muslims less than 400 years ago to the land of israel (named Palastine by the Romans) and they assumed
the name in early 20th century becoming the Arab Palastinians - same as Ottmain's done in other countries under their regime.

3. From your comment about Albania, you clearly have not been to Greece....or Europe for that matter.
Only about 40% of Greece current habitants are ancient times Greeks, most are Albanians.

A very small part of Turkey to the west of the straights of Bospherus is within Europe but the country as a whole is part of Asia Minor. Maybe they teach you differentlly in Israel , I don't know. Even if I were to agree that it IS part of Euorpe (which I don't) what difference would it make? Turkey is so far from the body of Europe that who cares if it's Muslim, and especially if were talking about hundreds of years ago, which is what we WERE talking about. You are really grasping at straws to make your arguement. It's almost pointless for me to even bother with arguing about this but I just thought you could use a little fine tuning of your geographical knowledge.

You are correct though that the Ottoman Empire was Muslim and it did extend into Eastern Europe. I previously assumed you were talking about the historic caliphates of older times. The Ottoman type of Muslim religion was different and more tollerant. Here's a couple of quotes as evidence:

Hopefully, someone read this and learned a little about Sharia law too. Sharia law is not what al Qaeda thinks it is and it also isn't what many Americans think it is. AQ type of Sharia is like KKK type of Christianity. Neither of them is worth a dime and both are perversions of the truth. There is so much misinformation going around.


One last thing. Desperate can go to Israel and see many great things and people. But he won't see the border regions and that is where the land grab is happening. Another thing of interest: The straights of Bospherus may be the location for the Great Flood that we read about in the Bible. At one time the straight was plugged by a land dam. The Black Sea was located below sea level and there were civilizations living there. When the straight broke (possibly during a large earthquake) Meditterranean water filled the Black Sea basin, which already had a lake BTW. About fifteen years ago they found towns deep under the surface of the Black Sea. FYI, not a proven theory (like evolution), but just a theory.
