got five years and 20k miles on m900 showa adjustable forks and a front seal has blown....plan on replacing seals, dust boots and adding race-tech gold valves....is there any other recommended maintance or upgrade recommended....read the stock oil is 5w and may be better with 7.5w....

new springs that are made for your weight. race-tech gold valves are ok but there are newer valves, made by penski or ohlins that would perform much better.


i hear this guy does good work on forks and shock. maybe he could answer any questions for you or perform the fork service. good luck

Stock oil weight is closer to 7.5, but most switch to 5wt.
