Motorcycles Make Big Noise On American Airwaves

RiderRadio debuts February 13th on KNBR San Francisco and
Nationwide via Satellite.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — From the syndicators and creators of the
Carey Brothers'  established and lauded home improvement program,
“On The House,” comes a totally new radio journey — RiderRadio.
This exciting new program will capture the hearts and minds of
motorcycle enthusiasts across the country. RiderRadio is a
fast-paced, two-hour, caller-driven radio talk show that will
appeal to the wide cross section of those with interest in every
motorcycling activity—including racing, touring, customization,
off-road riding, sportbike riding and much, much more. Even
listeners who don't participate in the two-wheel world can live
vicariously through RiderRadio—and taste the passion and power of
motorcycles.

Three dynamic and diverse co-hosts will provide accurate and
insightful technical and contemporary information aimed at the
increasing number of motorcycle enthusiasts from the youngest
rider to the retired tourer. A retired cop, a pony-tailed biker
and a young female AFM racer/veteran radio personality, make up
the staple cast of RiderRadio. Not only will the show provide
expertise from all corners of the multi-faceted world of
motorcycling, but the three hosts each offer a unique ideology,
insight and perspective on their motorcycling lifestyle that will
make for interesting and edgy discussion radio.

It doesn’t matter what they ride... or even if they ride,
listeners will definitely find what they are looking for. From
remote coverage of exciting motorcycle events across the nation
(like the Superbike Challenge, Motocross, Freestyle, Formula 1
and AMA races, manufacturer expos and raucous bike week events
from Sturgis to Daytona) to insight and information on changing
laws and safety discussions, information on new equipment,
modifications, upcoming new brands and models along with
celebrity interviews and coverage of the wide array of racing
classes/categories, RiderRadio will have it all! This show is
specially designed to bridge the gap between the various
participants in this ever-growing segment of our society and
will appeal to anyone with an adventurous spirit.

With the tremendous success of motorcycle-related television
shows like “American Chopper,” “Monster Bike,” “Biker Build-off”
and “Two Wheel Tuesday,” RiderRadio will be your station's
direct connection to this ever-expanding audience of loyal
enthusiasts. From the young, leather-clad, urban sportbike rider
to the baby-boomer on his (or her) custom American cruiser, from
long-distance (“Iron Butt”) touring riders to casual (as well
as hard-core) motorcycle racing enthusiasts, RiderRadio will
give highlighted coverage, open discussion and always emphasize
the spirit and passion that all riders have in common.

RiderRadio will air on Sunday mornings 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (ET)
with its flagship station being KNBR 1050 AM in San Francisco.
The show will broadcast live from the Carey Brothers' studios
via Satellite on ABC Starguide 3.

from woz's bio: MICHAEL J. WOZNIAK, a.k.a. “The Woz” Woz is a
retired Oakland, California police officer who spent 20 years on
the force. Woz was a patrol officer for most of his career in
Oakland, and it was during that time that his love of things on
two wheels really intensified. After Woz retired from the Oakland
Police Department in 1997, he worked part-time at the Oakland
Harley-Davidson dealership and began focusing his energy on the
motorcycle enthusiast group he founded—American Sport Bike
Night—which is the longest continually running, independent,
Buell rider group in existence. His long-time membership in the
Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and
the Municipal Motorcycle Officers of California (MMOC) give Woz
a unique insight and valuable connections in the law enforcement
community. Woz not only has some 12 motorcycles in his stable
(sportbikes and cruisers to classics and everything in between),
he’s also been spotted annually at the Bonneville Salt Flats in
Utah, racing for an elusive land speed record. Woz has also
been an avid supporter of numerous motorcycle charities and
events—chances are, if a motor is pushing two wheels and people
are having fun, "The Woz" is involved somehow!

ciao,
