I'll be in Palm Springs this week for work and will have an extra day to kill. Any good dealers located within 75-100 miles that are worth checking out?

Thanks!

Re: Duc Dealers in Palm Springs area? (Earache)

Ducati of Miami has alot of neat stuff (eye candy for sale) along with a showroom full of bikes MV included. A real motorcycle enthusiast shop.

Re: (Earache)

Man people do that all the time. My Mom lives in Palm Springs and whenever I go to visit her people say "man I wish I was going to Florida". Too damn funny.

Re: (Earache)

I always take my duc out to Ducati of Oceanside. It's a great trip over hwy 74 and beats the hell out of riding I-10 into L.A.

It always amazes me how many times people ask me how I like Florida when I tell them I'm from Palm Springs.

While we are not a Ducati dealer, stop by my shop to say hi. We are between Palm Springs and Pro-Italia. I'll actually go with you to Pro-Italia!!!

I land at Ontario and then will head towards Pro Italia. Are you located on the way or close by?

I'm right on the way from Ontario to PI. Definitely come by the shop and I'll go with you to PI. When are you coming in town?

Email some directions and phone number to me ([email protected])
I get into Ontario at like 9:30 AM on Thursday, February 3rd. A few minutes to pick up a rent-a-racer and I'm on my way.

Be cool to hit Pro Italia and check out the shit that I can't afford to buy
for my Duc.

omfg, if you can do 74 up over the hill out of palm desert towards idylwyld and then on over towards I-15, that road is awesome. I suspect it would be about 64% as much fun in an about-to-be-abused rental car as on a bike..........

Re: (chris_k)

Too funny - I did it today!

The mighty Race Impala that I got from National had a whopping 9 miles on the odometer and now has a few more. Drove all the way to Hemet and back.

Got to Cali a bit late so had to blow off the Pro Italia until Saturday. Had a few hours to killl so I was driving around and ended up on 74 and 321 (?). Saw a really neat MX track at Cohillua (sp) and turned around there.

Saw two CHP on 74 and only one sportbike - an R1. He was sitting on one of the vista pull off areas.

Brakes on the Impala have a really bad smell for some reason....
