Thought I would share some "home pictures" of the Dymag CA5 wheels all readied up to be installed over the winter. Front rotors are the famed Braketech CMCs (front wheel is stupid light!!!) and the rear is sporting a lightweight rear rotor that started life aboard a BSB Triumph Daytona 675. Tire valves are Ariete 90-degree aluminum valves in red......

Before someone pulls a "Captain Obvious", more bolts need to be added to secure the rotors (this is just a test fit), and those will be black titanium units that are presently doing duty on my current PVM rims....

So, coming soon to a VTR near me, he he..........

thanks, am really looking forward to trying them out. There is a saving of just over 20 lb of rotating/unsprung weight from the OEM set-up....

well, as bike is used for street riding, I will likely continue with what I am using now, a Pilot Road 2 in the back and Power 3 in the front..... seems to be a decent combo with good traction and wear

already am, my current wheels are magnesium....... avoiding them is not an easy thing to do, especially given out crappy roads, but it allows one to hone his skills, lol

If you haven't been in my area for a few years , you'll barely recognize it with all the FUKING new development construction going on ; which of course means huge trucks everywhere spilling gravel , dirt , and supplies whenever they stop/go , constant de-forestation causing dust-storms , etc. And the hillbilly local gubment is all for it b/c nothing says progress like bulldozers and concrete ! I almost contemplated selling the RC this year b/c I have no time to ride it , and when I do , the road conditions make it unenjoyable . Oh well ...

well, it's been a couple years now but every time I go it seems to have grown exponentially (essentially becoming a burb of Toronto)....... don't forget, however, that Quebec wrote the book on shi**y roads..... Quebec lives on equalization from the rest of Canada, is the most highly taxed, most indebted, and still has the worst roads.......

Oh I know , but you're riding on the hallowed roads of a Distinct Society !:D I'm also familiar with an "equalization" (aka socialism) equation . Case in point : both my neighbour down the street and I have toddlers , and the government gives her (as she proudly announces) $9000/year in child benefits while my wife gets the goose egg b/c she and her BF are deadbeats , and we earn too much money I guess . That's why everyone wants to come to Canada from the Third World ; you can have a nice house , not work , AND get paid by the gubment ... as long as you can lie and act the victim .

That's going on in British Columbia also...

Wheels and blades look the tits...I've already priced out replacement blades for my Braketech's should be interesting.
