Digital/LCD dash opinions

There was a post a little while ago about a digital dash setup, and I like the idea, but didn't like the $1000 price tag. While surfing my normal sites, I saw this dash by Translogic, and it looks pretty sweet, and is a little more affordable at $620. My only issue is it doesn't have an actual RPM indicator that gives an actual RPM. I thought about it, and I guess I don't need an exact RPM number, as when I'm riding hard, I go by feel, and this dash has a bright shift light and shows redline. What do you all think?

I really like it, but I'd rather spend the money on track time and tires. As bad ass as that would look on my bike, it wouldn't help me ride any smoother or faster

I'm with you on your assesment. A reason I've been looking at these dashes is my new master cylinders hit my current instrument cluster, and a smaller setup would be more functional for me.

I don't fool myself into thinking anything I've done to my bike (and I've done a lot) actually makes me faster or a better rider. I'm a bling whore to an extent, but I've accepted that.

Erik, check out this trick bike that this guy is parting out. I've never seen items like this, this really is the trickest Ducati that I've ever seen...Heat shield the oil cooler, CF sub frame....I really want the Corsa Coolant bottle...
