As I'm sure that a lot of you have noticed, it seems like people are really on edge around here lately. There are a lot of new members that seem to have preconceived opinions (though some may be accurate, lol) of some of the other members here. It reminds me of when I play video games online. I would pay full retail when it comes out ($49.99) and play with my friends for a year. Then, the price is slashed to $9.99 as newer games are coming out. All of the sudden there is a wave of new players that don't have the same respect for each other that the veterans of the game shared. It screws up the whole community and then nobody wants to play the game anymore.

I hope that doesn't happen here.

Great analogy but the price of this pig sure hasnt dropped any.

It is pretty funny how new members show up and thier very first post they throw out that disclaimer that everyone can go to hell and then ask for help all in the same sentence

Well I guess I am one of the new guys.. and i try to wait for at least one sarcastic reply before flaming anyone... but latley i think everyone would rather start Drama than actualy provide helpful information ... It's kinda like kintergarden without the kid in the corner chitting his pants

I gotta agree the newbs around here have been a little funny. I mean, the 5 page topic about how to wheelie the RC!!! A year or so ago, there wouldn't have even been a discussion, but two straight pages of flaming, with no dignified replies. I know some of the old guys are still around, but a lot of the posts lately just aren't like they used to be.

I don't know. It doesn't seem all that difficult to pick up a new RC51 for just under $9K - last years left overs.

I don't mind some people not appreciating the Five-One or lacking the skills to properly steer one, and they in turn sell off their disappointment away at a miserable price. Because someone like me, will gently lift their burden and gladly accept from them the miserable price they ask for.

I wouldn't mind another Five-One. It is just an unbelievably well-balanced machine.

No, it's not difficult to look/consider last years left over model RC for under $9k, but I have difficult time looking at a brand new left over 2000, yes 2000 model with “0” on the odometer for over $10k (not including shipping) from the dealer in Wisconsin. I don’t know if I should cry or be happy that RC is still worth that much even after 5 years later.
