Dude I need some help.

I need the following ... Sprocket carrier, Sprocket, and a New chain.

For guess what.... For an 02 MZ!

Have ANY lines on a MZ dealership that has an idea of what customer service is like? I would like to get the carrier in a timely manner

Re: Deeeeeeeezzzzzmo (AtomTan)

There are dealers all over, most of them arent exactly big places, the one I lived literally 100ft from sucked terribly (boy do I have some stories about that guy)
When I was hunting for a replacement sidepanel, I tried calling 4-5 diff dealers, and only scuderia in california actually called me back with the info I needed.

btw, what happened to the carrier? did the bolts shear? this is a known problem on some MZs, they have updated the bolts they use to a higher grade now.

Re: Deeeeeeeezzzzzmo (Dezmo)

Yeah they began to let go.

and that follow thru thing is the EXACT problem I am having with the mom&pop dealerships here in the carolinas.

They won't return a call, they won't call you when your part comes in, they AIN'T gettin' the biz from me.

you know what size the stock chain is?

Re: Deeeeeeeezzzzzmo (AtomTan)

oh, youre in the carolinas? I wont name names, just dont go to the MZ dealership in asheville (thats all I'll say about that)

I dunno offhand what size the chain is, but somebody on http://www.mzriders.com/index.php might. There is a growing forum on there with lots of helpful ppl.

btw I think yamaha XT600 sprockets fit the MZ hub (it might even be a XT carrier) but I'm not sure about that.
