Be thankful you can tell us....adversity and hardship build strength and character.
But I gotta ask......how bad is the bike?

Re: (grendels_arm)

thing was i was not pissed at all as i was laying there. i was more concerned about how my girlfriend was, knowing she had to watch it happen from the seat of her SV650. my attitude was like "it's done and over with"

Re: (SloppyJoe)

At least your ok, the bike will be fine later, and the g/f will be fine in time too, the good ones stick by you, and support you more than you ever thought possible.

Glad your ok. Keep your head up!

Re: (SloppyJoe)

my dad is standing where my bike impacted. i am taking the pic from where i impacted.

good news the motor still fires right up. and the tank, forks, engine, exhaust had no damage.
i was leaving a parking lot, making a right hand turn and when i straightened out and opened the throttle the rear end came around on me and i did my very best to ride it out but it went into a wicked tankslapper and highsided me off a good 20 feet. i found those small oil soaking (kitty litter) granuals in my tires and a patch of oil with that stuff layed on top of it. im not to sure of my next course of action. not sure if i make a claim or just fix it myself.
