Corbin Seat st4/2

I recently purchased a corbin dual canyon from ebay.

The seat is excellent and seems to be new in original box, even smells new! I don't think it was ever used. It has a small cut/split on the very back, as if from box cutter but not completely separated. I bought for a steal $200. I'm sure any upholstery shop could easily fix the cut, even a little black epoxy would do it.

I do not have the my st4 any more or would have kept the seat.

It is the carbon leather look, with small flag over back rest cover area.

$200+shipping

right now I am at a loss for how to post pics. There is a pic on ebay under completed items ducati st4 corbin.

Is it the Close version, or the Standard?

I don't think it's the close version. also all black. the reason i decided on the regular was that one of the tall guys said it felt better to push back on the seat and have some room once in a while.

You bought it on eBay, right? I'm wondering if it's marked CLOSE or Standard? If you're not sure I can call Corbin to find out how to determine which it is. Have you mounted it on the bike? Does it touch the paint? How deep is the cut?

I bought it last week or when we spoke on the chat, and Monday my bike started blowing smoke after being fixed again and again for ten weeks or so. It may be the shop or the bike, but "this" st4 has exhausted my patience, I'm finalizing the divorce now.

that sucks. are you going to look for another one, or change bikes altogether? the new sprint st looks pretty sweet, not that I should be saying that here...
