If you are just changing the top you can proabably do it with the bike sitting on the ground,(I wouldn't but you can.)
If you are actually changing the complete triple clamp assembly you will need to support the front of the whole bike by tieing down the rear and lifting at the motor sump. Pretty tricky if you are not used to doing this.
Ya its just the top tree. I recieved it as a gift from a friend and have yet to install it. Someone told me something about tamper proof screws on the cylinder lock? Any tips on that? Do i need to torque the bolts? Thanks.
