just a question here regarding my chain.

i lube and clean my chain every few kilometers (anywhere from 750km to 1000 km). while cleaning the last time i noticed some of the o-rings were gone. must have flown off or i dont know... i dont clean my chain in a rough way so im guessing regular wear and tear. so my question is the chain is still relatively new (i bought them with my sprockets front and rear at the same time) but with missing o-rings is it time to change?
