Newbie RC51 owner. I noticed a slight delay when low/hi beam switching, lo to hi on my 2004 RC. Switch settles on hi and beam comes on 1 to 2 secs later. Any ideas?

Battery low? Could also be a loose wire or bad connection at the bulb.

i've had the same problem recently. i switch the high beam on and it flashes on and off in the dash. ive looked for a short but i havent found anything and the high beam seems to work fine. Another guy i know with an RC had the same problem and found a wire shorting out on the frame.

i figure if you hit the switch and nothing happens....lightly tap the body work around the connections... the spot where you tap and the light comes on is a good place to start looking for a short.

Take apart the switch and clean the contacts, i've had the same problem with wvery honda i've ever owned, sucks when the engine kill switch does the same thing
