My experience was a half a season on them in 2003. I would get mayb one good 8 lap sprint race on them and after that they would deteriorate to nothing rapidly. I switched to Michelins and have never looked back.
BT 090? They will work fine on an EX 500. I used them for two seasons on a GS 500 for track days. I was getting 300 laps out of a set. Now I am talking track days, and I am no longer running race pace, but I still get a knee down in every corner that is warrented. Maybe they don't work great on bigger more powerful bikes, but they work great on 40-50 rwhp bikes. They are essentialy a bridgestone hard slick compound.
