hey gang,
seeing as how i've got some extra time before the montreal show, i'm springing for new custom brakelines from spiegler that will actually FIT all the silly applications i'm going with. as a result, i've got some braided steel lines up for sale if anybody's interested:

$125: stock front brake lines from a 999. new, never used. note that these are relatively short and the lower fittings are for the side-mount 4pad calipers found on the 749/999. should do well for folks upgrading their 748/916/etc... to 4pad calipers. will be too short for anybody running clipons above the top tripleclamp. i'd use this one but the fitting angle isn't quite right for the radial master cylinder.

$125: 2nd set of front brake lines for 4pad calipers but LONGER than the 999 unit. this is a set of galfers that i ran maybe 500 miles on. my clip-ons are about level with the top triple so these leave a fair amount of slack i'd prefer to not have. standard angle fitting for the master cylinder, lower fittings suitable for 4pad calipers. should to nicely for anybody upgrading their monster or supersport to 4pad calipers, or for a SBK running high-ish bar risers.

SOLD! 1 stock clutch line from a 996. should fit any SBK just fine. this one isn't super-clean but the fittings are solid and the sheaths are fine. upgrading this one again for the sake of radial m/c angle and "while i'm at it" to match the other lines (going red). as mentioned, should fit any SBK or a monster running clip-ons to account for the slack the stock unit has.

SOLD! 1 stock rear brakeline from my monster s4. it occurred to me that this is the only remaining item that came with my bike as deliverred from the factory. unfortunately, it's too short to run with the new setup unless i run it directly across the x-over tubing on my exhaust which would be um... bad. so... should do nicely for any monster with above-swingarm caliper i guess. running a rubber line? want to upgrade? well there you go...

$45: i even have a new-in-box goodridge rear kevlar line for monsters or supersports. it's blue. i'm going red. new in box!

prices open to any reasonable offer. paypal preferred so hoch won't kill me when the new lines come in ("i didn't touch OUR money, honey!") but will accept cash, check, money order, whatever...
pics/lengths/etc available upon request.

Strati, if this is the "newer" Galfer and it's a T line (as opposed to the dual line) you should be able to brake it down into three pieces + T fitting. Order the shorter section from the T to the pump. It'll save you some $..... no?

Re: braided stainless lines for sale: front brakes (pacman)

thanks for the suggestion on the galfer line but i'd rather just have a proper line made and resell this. easier to deal with than messing around with it for me.

updates.

999 line measurements: 17.5" from master cylinder to t-splitter. 5" from t-splitter to right caliper. 11.5" from t-splitter to left caliper.

galfer line measurements: 14" from master cylinder to t-splitter. 22.5" from t-splitter to each caliper.

SBK clutch line: Straight fittings on both ends. 35" in length.

monster s4 rear brakeline: One end is a straight fitting. The other's a 90 degree fitting. 19.5" in length. note... NOT long enough to run on calipers slung under the swingarm.

Goodridge rear line: one end is a straight fitting. the other's 90 degrees. 17.5" in length.

pics of each line inserted to 1st post. gotta snap one of the goodridge, but it's blue with red anodized aluminum fittings and is NEW in box.
