Which spending do you want to cut? I've heard only about 20% of the budget is "touchable", whatever that means. And there's still a bunch of people ready to moan about cutting that 20%.

I would rather the incoming Republican controlled House of Rep's attempt to cut off the nonsense spending on all levels than suffer more of the tax and spend policy in effect for the past two decades.

Screw the scapel, I want a chain saw to be used.

First remove the word "entitlement" fron the dialog, the ONLY thing you are "entitled" to is the opportunity to TRY and succeed. Secondly remove the income cap on Social Security taxes so you continue to pay (a VERY small percentage of your income) reguardless of how much over the "cap" you earn. However, when you retire, you should be exempt from COLLECTING S.S. if your net worth is over 2 million. Eliminate ALL services with the exception of emergency services to ILLEGAL aliens. Thats a start.

Hopefully the mortgage deduction will be eliminated for any home but your primary home. Why the hell is Cindy McCain getting a write-off on seven houses? Not that she is. She probably paid cash. But if she is I'd like to spit in her face. Same goes for Teressa Heinz Kerry. If you can't pay cash for a second home then you don't deserve one, IMHO. Unbelievable how subsidised the life of leisure is in this country (and elsewhere).
