OK...maybe I'm taking the lazy mans approach, again...
Where can you buy that black exhaust tape you see wrapped around the exhaust pipes in mags? Confederate Motorcycles Wrath? I like the look, any negatives? I tried the local auto parts store during my errands...any input is appreciated. Thx.

I tried it; I think the brand I used was Thermotech. The black stuff burns/wears away -- I took mine off after 2 weeks. Ends up very uneven and crappy looking. I think the only way to get that look and have it last is to go with the black coating made for the application.

Wrapping the exh. can lead to premature failure of the component; it's best to have it thermal coated, which is available in flat black. I'd go that route.
