I bought the Casoli fiberglass unit for my 996 biposto in '03 and I thought it was pretty nice. It was expensive and I managed to crack it during the installation. It seems that the fiberglass flexes but the clearcoat doesn't. I've seen some that are thin guage metal which would seem more durable. I've since sold the cowl and gone to a mono setup, subframe and all.
there are some C/F stuff selling on ebay, who?, no idea, but they have a solo tail cover for cheap that i could get painted / or paint....even if it is only true outer fabric C/F and inner FG....way better price......and i would still pick up the AL subframe....why overspend on the true mono tail if you can .....solo cowl and paint.....oh! i don't make your saleries....i get it now
