I tried to order a rear caliper rebuild kit from them. Took them a month and a half to get it to me, and it was the wrong one. I call them, and they say that there is not rebuild kit for my caliper, even though their website says there is and they let me order one that does not exist. I found the general experience to be lacking in minimal customer service.

Maybe a bit slow, but when I ordered Marvic wheels and a rear brake caliper, I found Fred to be knowledgeable and helpful.

I ordered brake lines and a rear caliper - he was helpful on the telephone and I had my order in under a week.

I've ordered a bunch of things from Fred before, never had a problem. As said before he was very helpful and knowledgable.

Fred is very good, but the Carbon Fiber stuff and his body work is sibie-moto and it's not up to par, I do not like it at all. It is not pre peg and the quality is not that of DP or other pre-peg stuff. But for other items I think Fred is a good man who tries to be helpfull and is a good vendor.

Re: (Lotabikes)

Although I never spoken to Fred I have purchased all the stuff that most suppliers don't and won't carry. I've heard that he sponsors racers and puts his money where his "Sport" is at. I've used his Kevlar Carbon Race air runners at half the price that others wanted.

I'm just glad a guy like Fred is out there offering us an alternative to what most would consider the norm. Thanks Fred!

Funny; I've never purchased anything from Fred, but we've spoken. Nice guy, knows what he's talking about, and he sponsors racers. He gives back to the sport - not like the guys who sell stuff and don't sponsor anyone. He also carries very good quality stuff.

No one can perform 100% perfect - ask the Philadelphia Eagles. Then again, I'm sure that anyone dealing with the public would agree [sarcasm] dealing with the public is always an absolute pleasure[/sarcasm]. Anyone who sells to the public has my respect....and pity.

Fred's cool.

Then again....the SOB's never sent me ANY STICKERS!!!!! Hang Him!!!!!

Yoyodyne slipper clutch

I have a slipper clutch from yoyodyne ... trouble is it's not slippin' at least not as much as I think it should be. Unless it get's hot then it slips in the wrong direction.

In fairness to Yoyodyne, I don't think the guy who installed it ever installed one before. But either way I have to pay, again, to get it working right ... sucks
