Hi
Am spending a bit of cash and wonder what would anyone recomend for discs and pads.
Usage is fast road no track usage, oh and sunny weather.
Thanks

I ran the Brembo HP upgrade kit with my BST's and it was PERFECT for the kind of riding you are describing and then some. I don't know if you can still get the caliper mounting brackets anymore, but if so I highly recommend the whole setup.

If its on the road its very hard to beat the OEM SP1 or SP2 stainless rotors and the HRC pads combo. If you want even more performance go with Iron Braketech rotors and Ferodo Xrac pads but they may require more maintenance. If you got lots of money to spend Braketech CMC rotors.

Everything else is just bling.

ding ding ding... we have a winner

You should be familiar with the AP racing brand over there in Europe. If you can find yourself some 320mm narrow band full float iron race rotors and match it up with some SBS dual carbon pads i promise you wont be sorry. If you can't find any for a fair price let me know and i may be able to point you in the right direction.

I second the Braketech Iron with Ferodo pads.

So the aftermarket rotors like Galfer, Braketech, Brembos, etc offer no weight benefit?
The rear Galfer disc I put on my Ducati saved 400 grams off the stocker. That's nearly a pound of rotating unsprung weight.

The Braketech CMC rotors weigh quite a bit less than the stock ones, not sure of the weights of the others, but they are probably close to stock.

most wave rotors don't weigh much less if at all. the cmcs are WAY lighter... i think about 60%.. both cmcs weighed less than one of my now retired galfer waves.
