Anyone ever heard of Komodo Leathers?

So I'm looking for a new set of leathers after selling my spidi 2 pc and I'm having some difficulty finding a nice set in the >$600 range. Well a good friend of mine just got back from a CRMA endurance race this last weekend in TX and he was telling me about a fellow selling leathers by the brand name Komodo. My friend said the stuff looked really well made and he was considering buying a set at the 20% racer discount, which apparently he could get for me as well.
Just looking for anyone with experience with Komodo leathers I guess.
