I know a lot of guys here use All Balls. Other than price, are All Balls bearings SUPERIOR to OEM bearings?

In other words, if the prices were identical, is All Balls better?

Thanks for your time, fellas! :)

Far as I know, when it comes to steering head bearings anyhow, the All Balls are tapered roller as opposed to the ball-type used by OEMs, making the ABs superior (and longer lasting).

Their website doesn't show an application for wheel bearings for the RC51...only steering stem. What does everyone do?

I just installed All Balls tapered roller steering bearings to my SP1 last winter. IMO roller bearings should always be used in the steering head, instead of the OEM Honda "bicycle bearings".

Remember to re-tighten the bearing after ~1000 km, I suppose it takes some riding until it's properly seated.

I know this is a thread about All balls bearings...

I recently fitted All Balls fork seals. Did the job perfectly, but they weep slightly. Wish I hadn't believed the hype, bought Honda OEM ones and did the job again. Perfect. So my advice from experience is to avoid All balls seals...
