Looks fukn sweet! Gonna cut into Graves' market share for sure.
Where in the report (except the title) does it say that the exhausts will be standard (which I take to mean included in the MSRP) ? I only see "available exclusively ."
it might have a Akro sticker on it, but i doubt anyone is going to actually leave that on for good and not get an aftermarket can anyway.

Can't blame them? I'm sure Black Dragon has some insane products in the works that will take Akra's market share.

Yep, the way I read the article is that you can buy an Akro exhaust through Yamaha as an add on. Won't come stock

The idea isn't new. Same deal as BMW has had with Akra and Lazer before. Same thing we are seeing in the automotive market with companies like Mazda running MazdaSpeed parts etc. Factory approved aftermarket or factory performance parts with an factory approved warranty that doesn't void the vehicle warranty. These are "real" Akras bought through the manufacturer with a warranty that doesn't negatively impact the bike's factory warranty. I'm not sure why anyone thinks these are anything but the real deal. In any event, another nail in the diminishing aftermarket.
