So I finally got the part where I refill and bleed the clutch. Well all was going fine etc.. Then the clutch lever gets super hard to pull in and when I pull in the pressure plate pushes out? Any suggestions? Have I put the new clutch in wrong by chance? Thanks.

Re: A clutch problem (themagicalswitch)

Sounds like a typical Ducati hydraulic clutch ...

Check the clutch line to ensure that there aren't any kinks, crush's or pinch's in it.
Yes the pressure plate is supposed to push out. That's how it works, spring pressure holds the plates together, the clutch slave cylinder pushes the rod throught the case to "disengage" the clutch while you change gear, then you let go of the clutch lever & spring pressure takes over.
While I'm thinking of it, check the seating of the return springs in the clutch pressure plate to be sure that they are all seated properly.
