Prolly a stupid question but...what tool/gizmo are you guys using to adjust/tighten your chain adjusters on a 999?

Re: 999 Chain adjusting (Wile E. Coyote)

I am using a straight punch that is the same diameter as the holes in the adjuster. I use a set of dial calipers to get the adjustments the same on both sides.

Re: 999 Chain adjusting (negativegs)

I use a hex key wrench that fits into the holes nice and snug.

I do my adjustment by eye. '03 swingarm has notches which are pretty good to go by.

Re: 999 Chain adjusting (jbraslins)

I've been using a hex key too but it's not great. It tends to bung up the round holes a bit when you tighten/loosen. You know, that whole "square peg round hole" stuff. Also slips sometimes so neighbors can hear f^@! when hand slams into rear stand.
