I am selling the bodywork off my 908ssp. The custom tank is fiberglass and the cap is carbon. The nose is carbon Kevlar comes with brackets and headlight bucket needed to bolt to stock 900ss frame also has turn signals and windscreen. I have two tails the one pictured is actually a carbon 916 tail it would take some modification to the frame to fit properly comes with Technocel seat. the other one is a Gia-Ca-Moto fiber glass tail that is special it is made to look like a 916 but fits directly on a 900ss without any modifications. Paint is good shape on pictured parts Gia-Ca-Moto tail needs some slight repairs and paint.
Bellypan is gone.

Price $1200 with 916 tail and seat
with Gia-Ca-Moto tail $1050

Hi. I just have to ask. Sorry to change subect. It looks like you have a superbike swingarm on your ss. I was thinking to go the other direction. Putting a superbike engine in my monster. How did you do the swingarm attachment? I guess that you had to do some seriuse "machining" on the case. I guess that I will need to manifacture some kind of adapter to fit a monster swingarn to a superbike engine. Any idees?

Sorry not selling separate pieces.

Sell your Monster and buy a S4 way cheaper and better any way you look at it.

Good morning Alex, I am interested more for the tank than anything else, is your bike injected?

Also can you please give me the length of the tank from the front to the back at frame height, many thanks.

Re: 916 Style Bodywork for 900ss (Monstaman)

This stuff is sitting in my living room I need to sell it or I will resort to using it on my next project which I really want to avoid . Most of the hard work is done. The tank is made to fit a 900ss with flat slides and sort manifolds as the tank doesn't have the big space for the air box. This tank is also way better for a 900ss track bike as the area in front of your belly is 2.5 inches farther forward which really lets you get over the front better, it makes a huge difference if your fast. I am not shipping it all abroad just too much bother for the price.

Alex, thanks anyway, I have bought another tank and tail etc for my project, you did not reply so I thought you did not want to sell it to me.

Good luck with selling it, someone will get some good gear I am sure.

Hey Monstaman believe me I didn't see your reply. I don't want to seperate the stuff but I might have to, seems a shame as it would not be that hard to fit to an old SS and make it look like the 908SSP used to.

No worries Alex, I would have just bought it all to make life easy, the only bit that was not on my use it list was the base tray.

I will swing it into the Ducati Owners Club arena here if you want to see if anyone is keen, lemme know.

Monstaman please don't. At the price I am selling it isn't worth it to me to ship to NZ or Au. Please understand I love you guys I just don't want to deal with international shipping on three boxes the size of house.

Did you see the article in Performance Street bikes on this bike a Few years ago? just curious?

It's a cool bike. I wanna build one so bad I can hardly stand it, I just don't have the spare parts or cash right now. My idea is to keep the stock 900ss fairings up front, with the 916 parts from the swingarm pivot back. I think that would make for a very clean, factory production type appearance.
G
can you get those parts made again? I dont have the money right now but i fyou could hook me up with the person who made them and prices i might be able to do it down the road? I think you bike looks awsome i love the gas tank! my email is [email protected]
