Alright so im smart enough to not be paying attention after putting in some new sliders and when installing the new small battery, I hooked it up positive to negative side and vise versa. After realizing it wouldnt start, i recharged the battery and hooked it back in correctly this time. Now the battery isnt getting any charge and im stalling out after 10 min. Im thinking the alternator is cooked, or the fuse, which I cant find is toast. Any ideas? I left my manual somewhere else and it would be helpful if anyone atleast knew where the fuse was for the alt. THANKS!

Re: 748 ALTERNATOR location!? (jfoo13)

I dout it's you alternator. it could be you voltage regular. there is also a big fuse next to the solinoid and battery. it in a black case thats a little smaller than a pack of smokes.

Do you mean the little horizontal case on the frame that holds the light fuses or closer to the battery?

I'm talking about the one right next to the battery. when I get home I'll post a pic.
