OEM 5-spoke Marchesini aluminum wheels from a 2000 996. Wheels have been professionally powdercoated a beautiful deep metallic blue, similar to the 996S Bostrom wheels. They look awesome on red or yellow bikes. The wheels are in excellent condition with no chips or scratches. Will fit all 748/916/996/998. $800 plus shipping. I have several other sets of 5-spoke and 3-spoke wheels available. [email protected]

What's the axle size on those rims respectively? Looking to use on a Monster if possible. ?

All Superbike wheels are the same -- 25mm up front, and who knows out back. They won't fit a Monster unless it's one of the single-sided-swingarm Monsters, in which case they will.

That's my mistake. I read 999, not 996. I knew I should have paid attention that day in class. As usual, if it seems to good to be true it probably is.

Re: 5-Spoke Marchesini Wheels - Blue (GregP)

for what it's worth greg, 999 rims won't fit the monster either. front has different brake rotor bolt pattern and offset, and the rear has different rotor bolt pattern, different sprocket carrier, and a 30mm axle diameter.
if you've got an '02+ monster, you ought to look for either S4 rims (NOT S4R rims), or ST rims.

Yeah, I'm not really looking to make the switch but I read 999 rims for $800 and saw my Monster with ten spoke blue rims and, well you know. . .

I added photos to my original post to nip in the bud any more of these winter "cabin fever" hallucinations.

Hey wait, Greg, you're in California -- you shouldn't be having any winter hallucinations . . .
