Back in 2001 On the Tokyo motor show Yamaha had a sculpture called OtoDama. Actually it was a V4 muscle engine on a metallic table..

here is the quote from the booth review

""The central creation in this space is a V4 engine sculpture. This is a creation that transcends the common image of a motor in expressing the immense power of a large displacement engine and the sound and pulse that is unique to a V engine. This sculpture is wrapped in a space designed to represent the concept of an incubator to create a powerful expression of the "life force" embodied in a V engine."

So we have 2005, Yamaha's 50th birthday and a change to show something fresh. European motor shows are around the corner, many magazine people speak about a new model frenzy from the Japanese brand. Are we going to see the best ever Muscle drag replica bike????????????

Here is the picture of the sculpture. Ill be first in line if the new VMax (probably 1500 or 2000cc) would looks as mean as the first one.

Re: 2005 Vmax? maybe? (Giannis)

Yep, take a motor like that and stick it in a chassis like this:

Give it more sporting geometry, and some even more aggressive lines, and call it Max Junior!
