lit up the Hotrod M944 today. it's a balmy 40 degrees and the roads are a mess but i just could not stand it any more. rumbled out of the sub down into Appleton set off a few car alarms then hopped on hwy 41 and did 130 between 2 exits. a couple of wheelies on my way back and i parked it, changed the oil and the plugs.
man did that feel good.
a few observations: this is the 1st ride in a while that i did not squash a single bug. you get cold really fast at 130mph when it's only 40 and overcast. Michelin H-2's take a long time to warm up when it's only 40 and overcast. the Hotrod M944 will still loft the front wheel when it's only 40 and overcast. it sure felt good to ride again.

they are talkin' snow or rain here tonight. it's still in the mid 30's so i think it will rain. that would be ok as it will wash all the crap away.
hang in there.

Re: (TnDuc)

Took the Duc out two weeks ago to watch the Daytona races but the bike stays parked cause we've had 35" of snow in the last 4 days so my Easter weekend ride will consist of dragin' knuckles and face shots.

Cheers,
D
