135 hp? Wow, that's like a new 600 supersport, barely breathed on. Amazing.

Nice Find...

True nice find and wish I had the money to put it in my garage. I bet that thing runs a true 135 HP and must be a thrill. Yes, it's older technology, but its some of the best OLDER technology still around.

Thanks for sharing... :rockon

Impressive. Shame it doesn't have the factory bodywork. I would take it if I had the money though!

HI
I AM GOING TO OFFER SHORTLY WHAT IS PROBABLY THE ULTIMATE RC45
EVER MADE THE FULL FACTORY SPEC. 1997 IOM TT WINNING PHIL MAC /
JOEY DUNLOP MACHINE COST IN THE REGION OF £190K TO BUILD AND
SUPPLY IN THE MID 90s

THE BIKE HAS RECENTLY UNDER TAKEN A COMPLETE NUT & BOLT REBUILD
AT SERIOUS EXPENSE THE ENGINE IS BRAND NEW AND HAS NEVER HAD
FLUIDS IN

IT WAS LENT BACK TO PHIL TO DO THE LAP OF HONOUR AT THE TT A
COUPLE OF YEARS AGO - USING ONE OF HIS OWN ENGINES

I agree JB... as far as magnesium wheels go the 3 spoke Dymag just doesn't
make me as hot as the 3 spoke Marchesini or the 5 spoke Dymag... and
there's a set on Ebay as we speak... I'd be tempted if the rear was a 6x17
instead of 5.75 x 17...

Still a POS design. Paying way too much money for old technology doesn't make sense. This is something HD does and I lump the RC45 into that catagory.

I don't know , man , but with the short riding season and ridiculously high insurance rates we have here , it is getting harder and harder to justify spending big dollars on rare old bikes . Not to mention my conviction that the value of such toys is headed WAY down within the next decade as world markets (and people's lives) take another , more substantial hit . THEN I'll buy !:woot:
