Hi I'm new to this forum so please excuse me. I just bought my '02 RC51 and come to find out that its burning oil. The local shop did a leak down and compression test. My bike has 6% leakage and between 80 to 100 psi on both cylinders. They completed these tests multiple times. The shop suggested that I need a valve job but I decided just to buy a used engine.
I came across an add in craigslist for 2005 RC51 bare motor/engine.
Can someone tell me if the '05 bare motor will fit and work with '02 RC51's stock electrical, throttle body, frame etc????
