I picked up an 05 Duc 999 in october and seeking an exhaust. I been thinking of getting the Termi (full Ex.)_but before i plop the $$$$ for it I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything else better or comparable to it.??

any advice????

first, you really ought to decide if you want to get a "slip-on" system or a full system. slip-ons are good for a LITTLE more power, pretty good sound and a fair reduction in weight. full systems offer more power, more sound (and better sound quality from their true cross-over) and more weight reduction because of the thin-wall tubing used in the header pipes. but they are of course also a LOT more expensive.

I love my SiL full system. Got it at Ducshop.com. Great people to deal with.

It depends on what you want to do for mods. If you are just looking for a moderate power increase and more sound, I'd contact Strati at http://www.ducatipipemod.com. For the money you can't beat the modified stock exhaust. If you want to do internal engine modifications, then you should look into the full system.

Tubi makes a great exhaust system for the 999 as well - slightly more open than the Termignoni.
