What You Get When You Vote Republican:

Massive, crushing debt...

And for those who are too slow to figure it out...
The Obama debt is mostly caused by Republicans too (tax cuts, stimulus for the deregulation-induced super-recession). God, the damage they've done!
And let's not even get into nation-building for sand fleas, etc.

Sometimes it isn't just about personal gain. But since you asked, it took two democrats to spearhead the post-9/11 gi-bill, which allowed my wife and I to both go to college after getting out of the military. Funny part is that McCain and Bush jr were both against it, saying that it would hurt retention. Sad really when you consider one of them is a veteran (I don't count bush's draft dodging in the national guard as "service"). Little did they realize how retention might be effected by plunging us into two unnecessary wars overseas so they could line their friends' pockets.

Yes, I know that the bill wasn't enacted under Obama, but it begs the question: What did Bush do in his 8 years that helped you?

One thing that Obama did for me was to show me how gullible some people are when it comes to politics. I should have bought Smith&Wesson stock before the last two elections. People are so damn afraid of the boogie man taking their guns, they go out and buy a ton of them (since rush & fox say it, it must be true right?).

Please explain why your college education is our (my) obligation.
That's not in the constitution.
Nothing personal but if everyone thought that they are owed things we'd end up like where we are now....

How many apologies has he made?
One?

You sound like Mitt:
Half-cocked Romney finds Obama apology where there is none - latimes.com

After Mitt's Euro-Zionist misadventure (and now this) he's looking like a real liability for U.S. foreign relations. Good thing Obama has a cool head. We're going to need his skills in the years ahead.

All You "Apology" Buffoons Should Read This...

...so you don't go out in public and embarrass yourselves with your lack of knowledge.

PolitiFact | Mitt Romney said Barack Obama began his presidency with an apology tour
Pants On Fire!
Ryan's pants were consumed long ago. Mitt is still working on it.

Romney's desperate and his minions are clueless. So, what else is new?

I'm not sure how you read anything in my post that said you are responsible for my education. There are lots of things that aren't in the constitution, like speed limits, military budgets, military pay and benifits, noise ordinances, FAA regulations etc etc. what's your point?

The GI-Bill isn't "owed" to any veteran. They have earned it. It isn't a hand out to some random person. It is a benifit, one that is earned by signing on the dotted line and serving your country with distinction. Maybe you don't like veterans, and that's fine with me since with your attitude, they probably don't like you either. In other words, you can fvck right off.

ahh the stereotypical delusional liberal. you must be tired from the msnbc all-nighter. hope you wiped the cheeto dust off your hands before you yanked it in your moms basement to nancy pelosi pictures

i find it flabberghasting that you can keep a straight face and say the more conservative party is responisible for the debt and the bleeding heart liberals are the money savers. this alone shows your ignorance of what the president has done in his one (and hopefully only) term.

please do the educated voters a favor and quit voting for a campaign slogan and look for the one who will be the more fiscally responsible person for the job based off track record. at this point it should be our top priority. WE HAVE TO STOP SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY. especially when it all comes from china.

does obama have to take responsibility for anything that has happened in his term? or (after 4 yrs) are we still blaming those dirty rotten republicans for all obumma's woes. he takes credit as he sees fit.

since you must think fiscal conservative means the opposite here is some light reading:

Fiscal conservatism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

heres the second line from this article as im sure most wont read it...

"Fiscal conservatives often consider reduction of overall government spending and national debt as well as ensuring balanced budget of paramount importance."

and here what your money saving boy has done so far national debt wise:

Obama Has Now Increased Debt More than All Presidents from George Washington Through George H.W. Bush Combined | cnsnews.com

in typical liberal fashion i bet your next line will be that im just one of those racist tea-baggers....

here what liberals think of budgets...

Obama, Democrats not serious about passing budget - CNN.com

here's an excerpt:

On Sunday, April 29, it will be exactly three years since the U.S. Senate passed a budget.

seems as if a certain party may have controlled the senate for a few years now....

Obviously my "point" was lost on you.

College educated, huh ? It's ironic that you cannot even spell benefit, but you can sure enough receive them...

My (our) money poorly spent on your liberal arts degree.

Sorry about the spelling. Posts on an internet forum are such an obvious display of intelligence, I should have known better. Please explain your point again? Something about veterans not deserving the benefits they have earned? Should we take away their healthcare too? Is that too close to socialism with the government paying for it? How about retirement? One more tidbit of information for you about the GI-Bill: Under the old GI-Bill (which is what I used for most of my education) the people who use it have paid into the system. It was an option when in the service to pay into it for the benefit of using it later. When I was in boot camp, we were told that only about 40% of veterans ever use the GI-Bill, and less than 10% ever use all of it. It was apparently self funded due to this sad fact that most veterans never used it.

For your information, I have a bachelors degree mechanical engineering, and will begin working on an MBA in the next year. Perhaps if I would have chosen a liberal arts degree to begin with I would be able to spell better. Or perhaps I should have just never gone to college and just worked shit jobs forever, I would have plenty of time to sharpen my grammar and spelling abilities as I live in my mother's basement.

Keep making assumptions about things you know nothing about. It only makes you look more like an ass. If you plan on shooting insults, do some research first.

With the Semper Fi you post after everything I can only assume you are a veteran, or at least knew one. Why agree with someone who thinks we owe less to our veterans?

Sorry, unclear on my response, I was referencing the part of his post that everyone feels the gubmint "owes" them something, either due to race, gender or social status (or lack thereof) Just because someone pumps out 8 crackhead crotchfruit and spends the day eating Doritios and watching Maury, I don't owe them jack sh1t. And yes I am a vet (8 yrs.) and I did "try" to utilize a VA loan to buy our first home in the 80's, but was denied due to the high (to put it mildly) housing prices in the SF Bay Area, so we utilized conventional financing. I truly feel we OWE the vets WAAAAY more than they're getting, but good luck with that. As far as I'm concerned, the less dependent on our failed gubmint we are the better. There are way to many people who from cradle to grave, expect Uncle Sam to coddle and provide for them, and suprisingly enough, they seem to be the ones who contribute the least to our great nation. Time for people to get off their ass and take control of their own destiny, but the cloak of the victim seems far more fashionable these days. I applaud your service and sacrafice to our nation, I truly did not intend to demean your service.
