Yeah, Hamas was voted in and they are Muslim. So? What you were unable to gleen from my post is that terrorism isn't motivated by religion (only 3% of the time is it solely the cause). Terrorism by Hamas is motivated by Israeli aggression, pure and simple.
You say Iran wants to "destabilize" the Middle East. Why is that?
Every country wants stability, especially the ruthless dictatorial ones like Iran. What they don't want is a superpower and it's little brother pushing their bounderies outward by force. Don't you think Hamas and the others is within it's rights of self defense given this very basic fact? For crying out loud, Iraq is even on the border of Iran. Yet we expect them to not act - especially when we rattle sabres and puff our chests out. For crying out loud, some of you guys just don't get human nature and national security.
What if Cuba was taking Burmuda by force? do you think the United States would just sit back and watch it happen? Iran is acting in it's interests. Same goes for what they've done in Iraq. We aren't the only country with national security responsibilities. Funny how so many just ignore this.
This isn't a defense of Iran. Just as much as anyone I hope Iranian revolution happens soon.
