At the very least, Global Warming and ANTHROPOMORPHIC Global Warming are not inherently identical concepts. Just as ILLEGAL Immigration and Immigration are not inherently identical issues.

Arctic ice reaches record low as it shrink to just HALF the size it was in the 1980s | Mail Online

"In a critical climate indicator showing an ever warming world, the amount of ice in the Arctic Ocean has shrunk to an all time low.
The shocking new figures reveal the ice has halved in size since the 1980s."

Those evil scientists! Why do they keep making this shit up?
They're about as alarmist as Paul Ryan is honest.

Are Zillaconpoops ever right about anything? It's no wonder they've scurried off to hide under their rocks.

Hah, hah. When I read that a few days ago I half-expected someone (a weenie) to crawl out from under his rock to shoot his mouth off. Well, there they are.

Hey, fellas, did you read the article?

The southern hemisphere is in winter. Of course ice will grow during winter. It doesn't matter if the overall average temp of Earth is rising.

And are you aware that sea ice is mostly land ice that has slid down from the mountains? Could that be why sea ice is growing in the Antarctic?

How does the ozone hole play into it?

In your usual quck-to-blab way, you haven't asked why.

Hey genius, you do know that your little chart is plotting ppm in the case of co2 and ppb (Austin Powers voice here...billllioooonnnnns) in the case of methane and nitric oxides, right ?

Real scary stuff in your chart.
I wouldn't want a beach home anyways, but that's got nothing to do with your supposed climate catastrophe "science".
It's because of Hurricanes. Plain and simple.

China: Worst Country on the Planet

World 2011 CO2 emissions up 2.5 percent: German institute | Reuters

China led the table of emitters in 2011 with 8.9 billion metric tons, up from 8.3 billion a year earlier. Its CO2 output was 50 percent more than the 6 billion metric tons in the United States.
India was third, ahead of Russia, Japan and Germany.

Polar ice melting, sea levels rising point to major risks for Canada

When combined, the full record of satellite data shows that the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets have contributed just over 11 millimetres to global sea levels since 1992," said Shepherd. "This amounts to one-fifth of all sea level rise over the same period."

Just over 1 centimetre doesn't seem like a lot, but that increase is spread out over the 360 million square kilometers of the surface of our oceans, which adds up to a large volume (and thus a large mass) of water.

"When you have 11 millimetres of increased sea level, if you compute the amount of mass that's capable of coming onshore during a storm surge, that's a lot of mass," said study co-author Dr. Erik Ivins, who studies glacial isostatic adjustment and sea level change at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. "And small changes in sea levels in certain places mean very big changes in the kind of protection of infrastructure that you need to have in place."

Fighting the oceans is going to cost humans a hell of a lot of money, in case you haven't figured that out by now.

Stop all world industry, give all of the money you have to the UN or the world's oceans will rise another 11mm...

So letís be clear. Yes: global warming is real, and some of it at least has been caused by the CO2 emitted by fossil fuels. But the evidence is beginning to suggest that it may be happening much slower than the catastrophists have claimed Ė a conclusion with enormous policy implications.

Hah, hah. Even the deniers admit that it's real. Now they've shifted their position to "but, but, it's not as fast as they said it would be." God, always spinning and playing catch-up. Another fail.

Is this the kind of thing you hang your reputation on?

And would you believe it? nero laments that you beat him to it. Hardy, har, har. nero, it seems, is a glutton for punishment.

Scuze me, but anyone reading the above bold would have to conclude that YOU are the stupid and naive one. In fact, you are the true catastrophist. How's that for a bit of irony?

ROTFLMAO at you.

It's no wonder why your buddies left the War Room. Your type can't handle the fact that someone might actually read your little links. Tisk, tisk.
Have a nice paranoid-delusional fantasy.
God, (irrationally excessive) guns and denial. The three pillars of stoogedom.

Sure am gonna miss you kids.

BTW, you chicks might want to take a deep look into Judith Curry and ask yourselves...
Do serious scientists run blog entry after blog entry denegrating other scientists conclusions because they hold opposing views? Judith Curry, it seems, should have been a right-wing journalist instead of a serious scientist. I'm surprised she isn't on the Faux News payroll.
Uh, maybe she is.

First of all, look at burns's link above. The author is David Rose. Nowhere in his story does he provide a link to the data or graph that he used in his story. That should throw up red flags for anyone. He must not want anyone to see the rest of that graph.
So I looked at the Met website and look what I found - no question about it - they do not say what Rose says. They say the world is warming even though temperatures sometimes level off for a little while. Take a good look. Real interesting stuff:

The unavoidable conclusion:
David Rose is misleading you.
Most likely, he is being paid by industry.

Do you guys like being lied to?

Tisk, tisk again.

Next time, do some research before biting the hook of denial.

BTW, allow me to educate you on something:

When the average Earth temperature levels off for a decade or whatever, it's interesting but it doesn't prove anything. You see, boys, temperature can temporarily level or drop for several reasons: decreased solar output, increased cloud cover, a large volcanic eruption, or even the death of Rush Limpblob (hot air).

Did you guys ever take a science class? Just wondering - cuz there's not much critical thinking going on those noggins of yours.

Buy hey, who needs it when you have David Rose?

Boo, hoo.

How entertaining! It's hard to leave.
Like shooting ducks in a pond.
Quack, quack.
ROTF.
