Absolutely one of the best races all w/e in Assen. Got to chat w/ Cameron's mom in the RedBull Rookie's hospitality tent and she was as nice as anyone I've ever met. Just so proud of her son and happy for the opportunity. Turner, Beach, and Baubier are all contenders in the Cup and doing quite well. Unfortunately, it takes ALOT of money and some of the contenders just don't have that kind of money to travel around the world week after week. There was a thread here early last month about the Turner's running out of money so that's not a good sign. Naturally some families have the money to do it, but those that don't, get left behind. We saw quite a few of these KIDS shlepping their own gear around after the race looking for someone/something familiar. It's a "show up and race" series, not the bling GP lifestyle everyone's accustomed to. Nevertheless, the US has some talent in the series for sure.
