Matris Shock Clearance Sale !!!!!!!

So here is the deal. About a year ago Matris products started to get imported to the United States. The importers first order was a sizeable one, and why wouldn’t it be, Matris is a great product and it should sell like hotcakes. Unfortunately the infrastructure to support suspension sales was not in place until recently. This leaves an inventory sitting on the ground that is no longer “current”. In this day and age most motorcycles are redesigned every 2-3 years. This is great for the consumer, but no so great for importers. Keeping an inventory current is hard. So here we are, a big sale on Matris products.
  • First come (pay) first serve
  • Pricing is final.
  • Pricing is so close to cost that I can not give more of a discount if you buy multiple items.
  • All shocks are sprung for 150-175lb rider.
  • If you need another spring it will be $75 charge and I keep the old spring.
  • The “alternate” springs we will be using are yellow. If you would like a different color spring it will be a $25 charge to have it powder coated and it will add 7 days to the delivery time.
  • Paypal, Visa, Mastercard accepted.
  • Paypal preferred.
  • If you would like to purchase a shock and will paying with Paypal it is easiest for me if you email me what you want, if you need a spring and include your Paypal email address. I will simply send you an invoice.
  • If you need to pay by Visa/Mastercard it would still be easiest if you emailed me first with what you want and we can make sure you are going to be riding on the correct spring, etc. Once we have you figured out I will give you a call and get your information.
  • Please keep in mind I am only one guy and a therefore I can’t sit around waiting for phone calls all day like “retail” outlet. Most days I am in the shop with my hands dirty and I make my phone calls a few select times a day.
  • I am available trackside for a lot of events this season if you would like some help setting up your new purchase. Here is a link for the dates: http://www.departmentofsuspension.com/schedule.htm
  • Shipping inside the lower 48 is $18
  • Shipping to Canada, Hawaii and PR is $38
  • All other international shipping is $70
If you have any questions please feel free to email me at [email protected]

or drop me a line 734-474-9971.

I don’t get much of a chance to spend time on forums much anymore, so if you have any questions your best way to get them answered is to email me.

M05 Monoshock

The M05 monoshocks are three-way adjustable.
· high speed compression
· low speed compression
· rebound dampening
· hydraulic preload adjustment.

The 7075 hard-coat anodized aluminum damper bodies feature 46mm pistons and piggyback reservoirs for near instantaneous movement of fluid and gasses. Damper heads and all mobile and fixed parts are machined from 7075 billet aluminum, and then anodized. Piston rods are of alloy steel faced with hard chrome, then titanium nitride coated which results in a situation where the shock has almost no stiction. Most manufacturers don’t offer titanium nitrided shafts even on their top line shocks, let alone their entry level ones. Lower joints are anodized billet 7075. This shock is on par with the Ohlins 46mm shocks.

M05R Monoshock (or commonly referred to as the “Racing Replica”)

The M05R monoshocks are three-way adjustable.
· high speed compression
· low speed compression
· rebound dampening
· Spring preload adjustment on the M05R model is with a hydraulic preload adjuster either mounted to the shock body or the reservoir depending on the application.

The 7075 hard-coat anodized aluminum damper bodies feature 46mm pistons and piggyback reservoirs for near instantaneous movement of fluid and gasses. Damper heads and all mobile and fixed parts are machined from 7075 billet aluminum, and then anodized. Most manufacturers don’t offer titanium nitrided shafts even on their top line shocks. Lower joints are anodized billet 7075. The piston and valving in the R model shocks a quite a bit more complex than in the standard M05. A lot more time is taken machining the piston assembly and the finishing process of the ports is a lot more involved to create a situation where there is almost zero fluid cavitation which allows for a much more consistent performing shock. The M05R is effectively a hand built and blueprinted shock and that is whet separates the stuff that works good from the stuff that works perfect.

For 4 years I have never ran a “sale” by posting it in the classified section. I’m sure Dave would move it or let me know if he had issues with it.
