Is/was there a liter sport bike that used a rear shock with an extended eye-to-eye measurement of about 10.5" that has about 2.5" of stroke? I need something in this size for a winter project....

do you mean that Ducati uses the ball bearing for ease of changeing and set up at the track. Tapered-roller need a litle more set up attention as to preload etc. ???????
