I love the Sargent. I have used it for many long rides including Pittsburgh, PA to Iowa nonstop and it worked great. On the way home I took all back highways which meant 21 hours of picking my way...

I used a handheld GPS in the map pocket of my tankbag to checl mine when it was stock. Mine was off by 8 percent. If you have a GPS unit that shows speed that would be the easiest way to check it....

I agree that visiting a dyno would be a good idea to get a custom map. Have you swithed back to your original map to see if the temperature problem goes away. That would be the first place to start....

Yeah I remember that. The problem was that he had a full tank of gas so the bike would not float. The manual clearly states that before ditching in water, you need to jettison excess fuel. :D
